Short Film Proposal
It is the day of the cup final and a day a group of fans had been waiting for a long time. However they probably would have wished that they just stayed at home and watch it on TV. My short film idea is about three male friends that have tickets to see their team in the cup final. The big day has arrived and are supposed to have a meeting point to make their way to stadium, but things go wrong for all of them. For one of them their alarm doesn’t go off so he has to make frantic rush to make it out on time. For another fan, he finds out he has no clean underwear in his drawers so he has to do a really quick last minute washing and ironing of his underwear. Another fan can’t find his ticket so he has to make a mad search around his house to find it.
All three fans make it to the meeting point on time (just). Then disaster strikes again, the bus to get to the stadium is late so they will have to get there on foot. On the way they face more obstacles, none bigger than when they bump into a large group of the opposition fans and are totally outnumbered and leads in to a little brawl, however the police come and the three boys think they come to save them and let them go but instead they get asked loads of questions, which is wasting more time. They eventually persuade the policeman to let them go, but is it too late?
The target audience for my film idea would be any teenage football fan as I think they would probably find funnier than people older than a teenager.
